Mariya Moore hit six three-pointers and finished with 22 points, five rebounds and five assists to lead Louisville to a 69-56 victory over Ball State on Sunday afternoon at the KFC YUM! Center.

Moore and fellow freshman Myisha Hines-Allen provided the scoring punch as Louisville improved to 4-0 on the year.  Hines-Allen scored 14 points shooting 5-of-6 from the field.

Louisville went into halftime leading 38-27, but Ball State closed the gap to 40-38 in the first five minutes of the second half before Louisville went on an 11-2 run to regain control.

Ball State shot 56.3 percent from the field, but had just 32 field goal attempts compared to Louisville’s 67.

Louisville will face Western Kentucky Tuesday night at the KFC YUM! Center.
