1. Women’s Basketball vs. providence
Jan. 18 | 7 p.m., students free, G.A. $8
Head downtown to KFC Yum! Arena on Wednesday evening to support your No. 15 ranked University of Louisville Cardinals as they take on the Friars of Providence. The Cardinals will look to improve on their Big East conference record and keep their undefeated stand at home going. Tip-off is at seven. – Aaron Williams

2. ‘Fiddler on the roof’
Jan. 17-22 | 7 p.m., ticket prices vary
The beloved musical “Fiddler on the Roof” will be playing at the Kentucky Center from Jan. 17 to Jan. 22. Featuring songs like “Matchmaker” and “If I Were a Rich Man,” and based on stories by Sholom Aleichem, “Fiddler on the Roof” is sure to please theater-goers and lovers of musicals in the Louisville area. The show begins each night at 7 p.m. – Lee Cole

3. ‘The greatest movie ever sold’
Jan. 19 | 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., $1.50 with student I.D., $3 general admission
“Super Size Me” director Morgan Spurlock takes on product placement and advertising in “The Greatest Movie Ever Sold,” a documentary made possible through copious in-film product placements and advertisements. The film will show in the Floyd Theater and is sponsored by the Student Activities Board. Rated PG-13, 90 minutes. – Baylee Pulliam

4. Pauly Shore at The Improv
Jan. 19-22 | 8 p.m., ticket prices vary
Pauly Shore will take Louisville by storm January 19-22 at The Louisville Improv. 5. ‘(500) Days of summer’
Jan. 20 | 9 p.m., free
It may not be summer but it’s still possible to go to a drive in movie! Bring your blankets, pillows, snacks and friends to the SAC Multi-purpose room to watch “500 Days of Summer.” This romantic comedy tells the story of a woman who doesn’t believe in love and the man who falls in love with her. This movie event is free and is a great way to celebrate the beginning of a new semester. – Josephine Lee

6. Dayglow world’s largest paint party
Jan. 21 | 9 p.m., ticket prices vary
Known as the ‘World’s Largest Paint Party’, DayGlow comes to Louisville this Saturday. Stop by the Broadbent Arena on Saturday, January 21st for a huge party – complete with a later show and tons of paint thrown right out into the audience! – Anna Meany
