facebook stalking: athletes beware

The seemingly harmless site known as Facebook may be home to athlete stalkers. Although adding athletes seen on campus or in class seems innocent enough, that doesn't necessarily make them a "friend." While for most at the University of Louisville, adding athletes on Facebook as friends is no big deal.

University of Louisville coach Bobby Petrino said tonight he is leaving the Cardinal football program to become head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. Petrino reportedly spoke after leaving a meeting tonight at which he informed his players. According to The Courier-Journal, Petrino declined further comment, saying, "I just met with the players.

Legal scholar named new dean of Brandeis law school

Nationally renowned legal scholar Jim Chen has been named the new dean of the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. Chen leaves the posts of associate dean and James L. Krusemark Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota Law School, where he taught a panoply of legal fields such as administrative, agricultural, constitutional, criminal, and environmental law.
