Luckily for me the bleeding heart liberals who make up 90% of this campus, and every other college campus aren’t running the United States of America. I watched a town hall meeting on MSNBC. It was made up of all ages, but the college students were the most vocal (because we got it all figured out by this point in life) and the general consensus among them was, “We can’t just bomb Afghanistan.” Sure we can. Sitting back in your Birkenstocks talking about “more violence only causes more violence” works out great for that desert rat bin Laden, but doesn’t do much for the people who understand the depths of hell that he plans (and has planned) to release on the United States. Hey, we dance with the ones that bring us, so lock and load.

Simply hoping your going to be the last one killed in the United States is a horrible plan. “Maybe we should change our foreign policy” (Don’t be fooled. That’s a statement, not a question.) Yea, from now on our foreign policy should consist of two letters “F” and “U.” One can rearrange how much money the U. S. gives in humanitarian aid to these countries, but there is still one constant; you’re giving the money to corrupt governments. If we let these governments do what they want, and don’t put sanctions on them, they will make nuclear bombs and other things that are generally considered bad to human life; do the math. They’re not going to build a park and have kool-aid stands with all that money if we just “let them be”.

Religion starts damn near every conflict in the world. bin Laden is operating under the false pretense that he is doing all this for Allah, but he doesn’t care about Muslims. He cares about taking over the planet, and if religion gives him that power, he’s going to use it. Jerry Falwell (a crusader for Jesus Christ) blamed abortionists, gays, and others he finds deplorable for the attacks on the World Trade Center as punishment from God. Notice how much they resemble each other? Now it’s my God vs. your God! Good lordâ what next? I need to start my own religion so I can duck behind it for unpopular views; I need to look into this. It’s all manipulation, and with religion you can get away with crazy views because, how dare one question a book that is full of nonsense and fairy tales?

Religion was used to explain how we got here (Western medicine hadn’t kicked in yet; neither had the human gene code been mapped) and I fear that it’s going to be the exact reason why we left.I would defend my county if called, without hesitation. Not because a mythical God called, or because a mythical God wanted me to take on another mythical God in a foreign land, but because the free world cannot survive without people who are willing to stand up to those they fear. I don’t want to lose the very thing we are fighting for, freedom. Talking isn’t going to get anything done with bin Laden. He wants (and plans) to kill you precisely because you are an American. Get that thru your head! If you happen to be reading this from a bunker in Afghanistan, don’t bother to run when you see a Marine Corp sniper; you’ll only die tired. Peace.
