The Career Development Center held a part-time job fair in Bigelow Hall on Aug. 30. Its purpose was to offer opportunities for students looking to find work in Louisville.

The fair had many different participants. Each company offers flexible, positions, designed for a busy student life. Though the primary focus was to offer part-time positions, some full-time positions were be offered.

More than 30 businesses were represented, including UPS, Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana, Steel City Pops and YMCA of Greater Louisville.

Businesses talked to students about their unique opportunities and positions. Wheel Fun Rentals offers seasonal work for their bike rental and Segway tours business. U of L Dining Services works closely with its student employees and has a wide array of positions.
