Former U of L cheerleader Shanae Moorman was the victim of a fatal car crash early Saturday morning.

First reported by WDRB, the incident happened on the ramp from 64-East to the Gene Snyder around 3 a.m. Moorman wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled over. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:10 a.m. Upon investigation, officials say Moorman wasn’t alone in the vehicle. Bradley Caraway, 34, has been charged with leaving the scene of the accident.

Moorman, 25, was a U of L cheerleader from 2010-2013. She was a 2009 graduate of Louisville Male High School.

Moormon’s funeral will be at Porter AD & Sons Funeral Home on Bardstown Road.

The incident will continue to be investigated.
