Final- Louisville defeats Virginia Tech 56-45. Myisha Hines-Allen notches another double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Louisville improves to 3-0 in the ACC.

1:33 left in the fourth quarter- Louisville leads 49-40. Hines-Allen has 18 points and nine rebounds. Virginia Tech will bring out its full-court for the remainder of the game.

End of the third quarter- Louisville leads 36-31. Cardinals were outscored 13-5 in the quarter. It was an odd ten minutes of play, two technical fouls, Louisville struggled on the offensive end.

3:48 third quarter- Durr called for a technical foul. Louisville leads 33-27.

3:48 third quarter- Louisville leads 33-25. Shot clocks expires on Louisville after a very poor possession offensively.

4:53 third quarter- Louisville leads 33-25. Walton battled for a loose ball on the floor, pushing and shoving ensued. Hines-Allen was given a technical foul as well as Virginia Tech’s Chanette Hicks.

Halftime- Louisville leads 31-18. Hines-Allen leads the Cardinals with 11 points. Durr has scored eight points. Louisville is shooting 11 of 31 from the field while Virginia Tech is six of 19 from the field.

35.2 seconds left before halftime- Louisville leads 28-16. Coach Jeff Walz calls a timeout. Hines-Allen, the Cardinals leading scorer with 11 points left the game moments ago after picking up her second foul.

4:52 second quarter- Louisville leads 24-13. Walton ripped a loose ball away from a VT defender, passed the ball to Hines-Allen on the low block for a layup. Wolff forced to call another timeout, VT has not scored in the second quarter.

6:07 second quarter- Louisville leads 22-13. Asia Durr is getting some time running the point, fouls are picking up a little bit.

7:57 second quarter- Louisville leads 19-13. Moore hits Hines-Allen with a no-look pass on the fast break and coach Dennis Wolff calls a timeout. Hines-Allen is up to six points.

End of the first quarter- Louisville and Virginia Tech tied 13-13. All seven Cardinals that have played have scored, but no one has more than one made field-goal. Virginia Tech hit two three-pointers late in the first quarter to close the gap.

4:54 first quarter- Louisville leads Virginia Tech 7-5. Carter hit a three-pointer from the wing a few possessions ago, her shot has really improved over the past few weeks, the sophomore seems much more comfortable releasing the ball. Louisville is three of six from the field.

Starting five- Arica Carter, Briahanna Jackson, Mariya Moore, Myisha Hines-Allen and Cortnee Walton.

Louisville has reeled off seven wins after starting the season 3-5. The Cardinals face Virginia Tech (13-1) on Thursday at the KFC YUM! Center.
