Final: Louisville defeats Valpo 75-42. Mariya Moore and Myisha Hines-Allen lead Cardinal scorers with 12 points.

3:38 fourth quarter- Louisville leads 73-39.

7:50 fourth quarter- Louisville leads 64-33. Five freshman on the floor for the Cardinals right now, Durr, Jones, Cole, Fuehring and DeGrate.

9:10 fourth quarter- Jeff Walz calls a timeout. Louisville leads 60-33.

End of the third quarter-Louisville leads 60-33. Moore and Hines-Allen each have 12 points.

4:32 third quarter- Louisville leads 49-24. Dakota Weatherford played the entire segment for the Cardinals, she played good defense and had an assist. The Cardinals have 19 made field goals, 16 of the made baskets coming off assists.

5:22 third quarter- Louisville leads 49-24. Cortnee Walton hits two consecutive mid-range jumpers. She has eight points and 10 rebounds.

Halftime- Louisville leads Valpo 37-19. Mariya Moore has knocked down three three-pointers for nine points. Myisha Hines-Allen has eight points and three rebounds.

3:33 second quarter-Louisville leads 30-14. Eight Cardinals are already in the scoring column, Moore has a team high six points.

End of the first quarter- Louisville leads 23-11. Moore has six points and three assists. Cardinals put together a good defensive effort for the most part through the first ten minutes of play.

Walton gets poke in the eye on the offensive end, trails behind the play as the Valpo pushes it up the floor, but sprints down and grabs the defensive rebound.

6:40 first quarter- Louisville leads 15-0. Moore knocks down back to back three pointers, Cardinals are out and running.

8:02 first quarter- Louisville leads 7-0. Cole hit corner three-pointer. The team has struggled at times defensively early on in the year, but nice effort and execution thus far.

After knocking off nineteenth-ranked Michigan State on Thursday, Louisville (2-4) returns home to face Valparaiso on Saturday.

It is the Cardinals first home game in nearly a month. Louisville opened the season with a 75-71 loss to Cal on Nov. 15 at the KFC YUM! Center.
