Final- Louisville defeats Grand Canyon 111-63. Lee finishes with a game high 24 points. It is Louisville’s first time scoring 100 points since 2014. 11 Cardinals score in double figures.

1 minute left- Louisville has Levitch, Stockman, Onuaku, Mahmoud and Johnson on the floor. There won’t be a bigger lineup on the floor all year. 6-foot-3, 7-foot, 6-foot-10, 7-foot and 6-foot 9.

3:49 second half- Louisville leads 103-51. David Levitch knocks down a mid-range jumper and follows it up with a transition three-pointer.

7:02 second half- Louisville leads 95-49. Lee is up to 24 points. Three other Cardinals have scored in double figures.

11:24 second half- Louisville leads 80-40. Cardinals break the 80 point mark for the fifth time this season.

15:43 second half- Louisville leads 74-35. Jaylen Johnson breaks into the scoring column with a floater in the lane. 11 Cardinals have scored in the game, three are in double-figures (Lee, Snider, Mitchell).

Halftime: Louisville leads Grand Canyon 61-30. Lee leads all scorers with 15 points. Mitchell has 11 points and four rebounds. Snider as nine points and six assists. Cardinals shooting 21 of 33 from the field.

3:59 first half- Louisville leads 53-23. Stockman has scored four points and three rebounds.

4:41 first half- Louisville leads 51-23. Mitchell in double figures with 11 points after hitting two free throws.

6:48 first half- Louisville leads 42-19. Lee is up to a game high 12 points, Snider has nine points and five assists. Grand Canyon has just two rebounds because Louisville is shooting 15 of 18 from the field. Matz Stockman checks in the for the first time. Mitchell had a nice segment earlier, hit a three-pointer, mid-range jumper and scored on a drive to the basket.

9:20 first half- Louisville leads 38-15. Cardinals on a 21-2 run. Louisville is shooting 13 of 14 from the field.

10:45 first half- Louisville leads 30-15. Snider knocks down another three-pointer, a possession earlier, Snider had a nice drive to the basket and score.

12:56 first half- Louisville leads 24-13. Snider knocked down a three-pointer on the previous possession, Cardinals still shooting well from the field, 7 of 8. Anas Mahmoud checks in the for the first time. Spalding has eight points, Lee has seven points.

15:16 first half- Louisville leads 17-12. The Cardinals opened up in a full-court press and forced a deflection, Donovan Mitchell saved the ball from going out of bounds and Spalding grabbed the ball and finished with a strong drive to the basket. Louisville is shooting 5 of  6 from the field (83%).

16:25 first half- Louisville leads 12-10. Spalding had a nice put back and was fouled after a Lee steal. Spalding already has six points in his first career start.

After a 71-67 loss to third-ranked Michigan State on Wednesday, Louisville returns home on Saturday to play Grand Canyon (6-0).

Fifth-year graduate transfers Damion Lee and Trey Lewis led Louisville with 23 and 21 points, respectively, in the road contest against Michigan State, as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

The Cardinals (5-1) have a 20-3 record during the month of December over the last four years.
