U of L is 11 weeks into the school year, and by now you’ve probably gotten used to your roommate. But that doesn’t mean you’re okay with all the weird things they do. The Cardinal asked U of L students for the craziest thing about their roommates, and here’s what we found:
“He made a pillow by putting grocery bags into a bigger plastic bag.”
“He has really curly hair, so he spins a tennis racket on top of his head to get more curls.”
“She stares at me in the mirror from her bed while I’m in my bed.”
“My roommate wakes up in the middle of the night to yell random questions at me in my sleep, then answers them himself and falls back asleep.”
“My roommate puts the comforter in her chair and sleeps with only the sheets.”
“My roommate hasn’t put the sheets on the bed at all.”
“She is too lazy to shave her knees, so she plucks her knee hair with tweezers.”
“Whenever I walk into my kitchen, I’m yelled at not to touch my roommates SPKs (Sour Patch Kids).”
“So we had a few people over one night and me and all my roommates were in the kitchen. We went to the freezer to grab something and there we see a candle. Nobody knows who put it there so we just laugh and take it out, thinking somebody is playing a joke on us. Later on in the same night I went to the freezer again and there was a can of Lysol in there. Again, nobody knew how it got in there. So now we just keep a clock in the freezer.”
“My roommate made shroom-tea in my Keurig. She didn’t tell me, and the next time I went to make coffee, I found the shrooms.”
“(He) sleeps with a teddy bear.”
“My roommate is sickly obsessed with Taylor Swift. Worst part is, it’s growing on me.”
“My roommate is obsessed with puppies. Like, seriously.”
“My roommate peed on my bed when I left to go to the bathroom.”
“My roommate asked out a random woman on the interstate that turned out to be my girlfriend’s mom.”
“My roommate left a rack of drying lingerie out as I brought my boyfriend up to my room for the first time.”
