Brief: U of L names new credit union partner

Commonwealth Credit Union will be U of L’s new credit union partner, CFO/COO Harlan Sands announced on Friday.

“We selected Commonwealth based upon their strong financials, proven ability to deliver top-rate financial services, and commitment to superior customer service to our students, faculty, staff and alumni,” Sands said in an email to faculty.

Commonwealth will replace former partner Kentucky Telco, which announced their departure in February and left their office in May. Commonwealth will take over the space in Floyd Street Parking Garage vacated by Kentucky Telco.

According to Sands’ email, their office will open early next year. The rest of the timeline is currently unavailable.
