When I think of Pinterest, I think of all of the cool ideas that I could do at home: how to make my own headband, how to do my hair in a certain style, or how to make a mason jar into a piece of art. This time of year, though, Pinterest can be used for more than just your basic every day needs. There are all different types of ideas on how to create the best Halloween crafts and even how to make your own costumes!

You can find these ideas by simply typing in “Halloween” in the search box on the website. What pops up on your computer screen may surprise, or even scare you. There are tutorials on how to do your nails like skulls or pumpkins; make up ideas on how to get your face to resemble a certain animal, or character; food theories on how to make pumpkin flavored cupcakes; decoration and craft tutorials on how to turn your home into a living, breathing, Halloween infestation!

You can also get really specific and type in exactly what you’re looking for in the search box. If you need to know how to dress up like Hit Girl from Kick Ass for Halloween, Pinterest has got you covered. If you need to know how to carve a pumpkin like a pro, Pinterest will give you a step by step process. If you need to know how make your candles look like they’re bleeding, Pinterest will take the bite. If you need to know how to turn milk jugs into ghost lanterns, Pinterest will show you how.

If you’re running out of time or over exhausted from the cliché Halloween ideas this year, just log onto Pinterest and start searching. When in doubt, just pin it.
