Comeback Cards take down gators, advance to Final Four

The Cards advance to the NCAA Final Four, after a 72:68 comeback win against the University of Florida gators, Saturday night.

“I told them they’ll never ever forget if they win this game. For the rest of their life,” said head coach Rick Pitino, in a post-game interview with CBS.

The No. 4 seed Cards will face either Baylor or the University of Kentucky in the semi-finals, Saturday, March 31 in New Orleans. It will be U of L’s ninth trip to the Final Four.

The NCAA is offering $25 tickets for University of Louisville students. Students will be notified via email. The deadline to purchase is Tuesday, March 27.
