1. Man or Astro-Man?

Man or Astro-man? will land in Louisville on Oct. 12. The band, famous for their extensive soundtrack work for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, will play Headliners Music Hall in a lineup that also includes Natives and Anwar Sadat. 2. Rocky Horror Picture Show
Oct. 15 | 12AM, $1.50 with student ID
Cult classic “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is playing Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Floyd Theater. The longest running theatrical release in movie history, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” has been playing in midnight showings for packed crowds in costume for over 30 years. Come check out the showing beginning at midnight and come prepared to shout at the screen. – Lee Cole

3.Fall Food Cleanse
Oct. 13 | 7PM-8PM, free
The Fall Food Cleanse kicks off Thursday, Oct. 13. Nutrition expert Pam Jones of Pure Balanced Health will be at Rainbow Blossom Highlands Market on Bardstown Road from 7 p.m.- 8 p.m. The 21-day cleanse includes an e-book and menus on how to get in touch with your inner being and discover what foods might be causing challenges for your body. 4. Photography: The Document

Oct. 14 | 8:30AM-4PM, free with ID
The University of Louisville will be sponsoring a photography conference on Friday, Oct. 14, to bring regional and national speakers together regarding documentary photography. Among the keynote speakers will be Duke University’s Tom Rankin, and Appalachian portrait photographer, Shelby Lee Adams. The event will be held at the Chao Auditorium in the Ekstrom Library from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and registration is free for U of L students. The non-student is fee is $20. Lunch, a book signing and the opening reception for photo exhibits at U of L’s Hite Art Institute in Schneider Hall are included with registration. 5. Ben Sollee

As part of WFPK Presents, Kentucky native and Sub Pop records artist Ben Sollee will perform at Headliners Music Hall on Friday, Oct. 14. Doors open at 8 p.m. with the performance starting at 9 p.m. The show is only for those aged 18 and older. Opening for Sollee is the Washington D.C.-based indie folk group Vandaveer. – Aaron Williams
