How did you first get involved with basketball?

Just playing in the backyard with my brothers and cousins. We played other sports too, but there was definitely no playing house or anything like that.

What is your favorite food?

Definitely pizza and macaroni and cheese.

Do you have any pregame superstitions?

Definitely invisibility. I would go around scaring so many people.

What is the best part of being an athlete at Louisville?

The fan support. It is incredible, knowing that people are going to be there at every game cheering for you.

What is on your iPod?

A little bit of everything. Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Usher – that kind of stuff.

What is it like playing for head coach Jeff Walz?

It is a challenge every day, but in a good way. He pushes you to be your best and get better every single day, and I really like that about him.

Do you view yourself and your team as a role model for young female athletes?

Absolutely. Our team volunteers at the YMCA when we have time. And we can see the difference we make on the faces of the little girls in there. It’s awesome.

Can you dunk?

Almost. I’m real close. I can hang on the rim, but the ball is too big for me to palm it.

What is the craziest thing that ever happened during one of your games?

During an [Amateur Athletic Union] game, I was playing really well and the other team’s coach yelled at their players to stop me. So the next time I went up for a layup, a girl pulled my pants down.

Who is your role model?

Definitely my mom. She has been there for me through everything, helping me to get where I am today. She is just such a strong woman that I really admire her.

I would have to play myself because I don’t think anyone else could play me. It would be called “The Best Movie Ever.”

If someone made a fancy layup, like going through traffic or they reversed it, I would make that a 3-point play instead of 2. And if they got fouled, you still get the foul shot.

Who is the best player you ever played against?

My cousin, Eric. When we were younger and played, I could never beat him. The only way I won was if he missed every shot.

What has been your favorite moment as a Cardinal?

The day I committed to Louisville. I did it on my 17th birthday. And to do it with my family all around me was amazing.
