I enjoyed “The hipster epidemic” opinion piece in The Louisville Cardinal this week. Although I disagreed with last week’s leggings article, I found this piece hilarious. Your article reminded me of the “South Park” episode, “Die Hippie, Die.” The “college know-it-all hippies” have transformed into hipsters. As with any group or person “South Park” parodies, the person or group tends to think that they are above criticism. Your piece really captured the hilarity of hipsters and their effort to reject the mainstream.

P.S. To all the hipsters, the University of Louisville banned smoking. Get with the picture and don’t walk slowly in front of me when you’re smoking your American Spirits.
