Students from the Speed School of Engineering at the University of Louisville are teaming up with Kentucky Satellite Enterprise to help launch several satellites within the next 10 years. The project hopes to launch Kentucky's first satellite, KySat1, in late 2007 or early 2008, and its second, KySat2, by 2009.

The board of trustees for the University of Louisville is currently weighing on the issue of a potential establishment of a withdrawal fee. The withdrawal fee would be assessed to students when and if they withdraw from a class after the drop period. The idea for the fee came about in order to combat "course shopping," among U of L students.

MIAMI - It took the Louisville Cardinal Football team three quarters to put a sizable lead on Wake Forest's Demon Deacons to win the 2007 BCS FedEx Orange Bowl. Tied at 10-10 at the top of the fourth quarter, the Cardinal offense capitalized on two touchdowns and a field goal in the final 15 minutes of play, beating the Demon Deacons 24-13 in their first BCS game appearance.

After taking care of Connecticut and with a little help from West Virginia, the University of Louisville football team now sets its sights on the last game of the year against Wake Forest in the Orange Bowl.
